Strengthening Global Relief Through Strategic Partnerships
Strengthening Global Relief Through Strategic Partnerships
The AMEL Foundation is deeply rooted in the belief that faith is a catalyst for transformative humanitarian work. Our Faith-Based Partnerships are designed to unite the North American Muslim community under a shared mission of dignity and service. By collaborating with established national organizations and respected scholarly leaders, we ensure that our refugee support initiatives are not only logistically sound but also spiritually grounded. These partnerships allow us to scale our impact, transforming collective devotion into life-saving humanitarian aid Sudan needs today.
Islamic Society of North America (ISNA)
A cornerstone of our national engagement is our longstanding relationship with the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). During the 60th Annual ISNA Convention in Dallas, AMEL Foundation played a pivotal role in the discourse on modern humanitarian challenges. Our Fund Development Director, Shaikh Nur Muhammad, contributed his extensive expertise to the convention’s Fatwa advisory sessions, providing critical guidance on the intersection of Islamic jurisprudence and contemporary aid distribution. This high-level participation ensures that our programs, including emergency food assistance, remain compliant with the highest standards of ethical and religious practice.
Strategic Partnership with Africa Relief
Collaboration is key to our success on the ground. Through our strategic partnership with Africa Relief, based in New Jersey, AMEL has successfully implemented large-scale feeding programs across Sudan. Together, we have coordinated Ramadan Iftars and Udhiya sacrifice projects that reach thousands of displaced families. These joint efforts leverage the domestic strength of Africa Relief and the deep local expertise of AMEL’s Sudanese partners, creating a seamless pipeline of support that addresses both immediate hunger and long-term community empowerment Sudan requires to rebuild.
